A seed carries everything.
Kofi is small. Smaller than a hand. Smaller than a worry. But inside Kofi is something that has traveled farther than any of the Seed Seekers know — a story older than the field, older than the rainbow that stretches over their world.
This book began as a question we kept returning to at Plantain: what do we give children so they know they carry something — before the world tells them otherwise?
The answer was Kofi. And Toto, Donkey, and Froggie, who help Kofi remember what the seed already knows.
Meet the Seed Seekers
Kofi
Tiny but mighty. A seed with a story bigger than anyone expects.
Toto
Sees far. Believes in the journey before knowing where it ends.
Donkey
Steadfast. Carries what others cannot. Knows the weight of things.
Froggie
Leaps before looking. Finds wonder exactly where others walk past it.
